ORPA Joins Forces with Ohioans For Concealed Carry

At the recent Trustee meeting on March 30, the Trustees of The Ohio Rifle and Pistol Association heard from Jeff Garvas, founder and president of Ohioans for Concealed Carry. With recent passage of HB 12 by the Ohio House in record time, Jeff came to the ORPA to ask for its support in working this bill through the Ohio Senate. Jeff made a very good presentation, including background on Ohio's attempts to pass such bills in the past, as well as pointing out some of the perhaps well meaning but inappropriate language in the current bill.

The Trustees of your state association voted overwhelmingly in favor of supporting Ohioans for Concealed Carry and their efforts to get a workable concealed carry bill through the legislature.
